A day long training program titled “Customs & VAT Policy & Procedure in Bangladesh” was held at Hotel De Castle, Banani, Dhaka on 7th February, 2015. Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Commissioner, Customs Bond Commissionerate, Dhaka facilitated the training program.
Ms. KaziRoushanAra, Executive Director of LFMEAB inaugurated the program. The training was organized by Centre of Excellence for Leather Skill Bangladesh Limited and Leathergoods & Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) with the support of the European Union funded INSPIRED Project and Swiss Agency for Development & Cooperation (SDC). Approximately 20 industry personnel participated in this knowledge sharing and capacity building training program.
