With the collaboration of the Leather-Sector Business Promotion Council (LSBPC), LFMEAB has completed the In-house training program titled ‘Quality Control and Inspection Manual for Footwear Factories’ at 7 Member-Factories. The day-long trainings were held at each of the 7 factories respectively from the mid-March till mid-April, 2019. The trainings were conducted by Mr. Rashedul Hasan, trainer from Poppy Project, Mr. Mamun-Or-Rashid and Mr. Mainuddin Khan, leather experts from LFMEAB.
The training program was aimed to reduce rejection rates at factories through increased of product quality and to ensure the proper implementation of the ‘Inspection Manual’ at the factories where the trainings were held at. In all, more than 140 workers participated in the training from 4 footwear and 3 Leather goods factories.
