Leathergoods And Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) has organized a day-long training workshop on ‘Bangladesh Labour Law Amendment-2018’ held on Saturday, 13th April, 2019 at the Association’s Conference Room at Banani. Lead auditors Mr. Syfur Rahman and Mr. Suva Chowdhury have conducted the day-long training program.
Core objectives of the training were updating LFMEAB member factories with the latest changes and revisions to the Bangladesh Labour Law Amendment-2018. HR officers, compliance managers, administrators and proprietor from different member factories participated in the workshop. The training highlighted the latest changes to the rules of employment conditions, maternity benefits, final settlement, gratuity & provident fund, and relevant holidays among others.
At the end of the training session, Ms. Kazi Roushan Ara, Executive Director of LFMEAB distributed certificate of successful completion among participants.
