Five member factories of Leathergoods And Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) have been awarded the prestigious “National Export Trophy 2019-2020” in recognition of their extraordinary performance in export earnings in the fiscal year 2019-20. In the leather goods sector, Picard Bangladesh Ltd and ABC Footwear Industries Ltd got the gold and silver trophies respectively. In the footwear (all) sector, Bay-Footwear Ltd secured the gold trophy while FB Footwear Ltd secured the silver medal and Akij Footwear won the bronze trophy.
Winning member companies received their trophies from Mr. Tipu Munshi, MP, Minister for Commerce Ministry on Sunday, 16th April 2023 at a ceremony jointly organized by the Commerce Ministry and the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka.
