As a part of Compliance drive, Leathergoods and Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) and Leather Sector Business Promotion Council (LSBPC) jointly organized a day long training program titled “Fire Fighting Safety & Security Training” held at COEL Centre, Gazipur on 11th April 2015 in association with Centre of Excellence for Leather Skill Bangladesh Ltd (COEL). Mr. Ziaur Rahman, Board Member, LFMEAB, Ms. Kazi Roushan Ara, Executive Director, LFMEAB inaugurated the training program.
A live firefighting demonstration was conducted during the training to enhance the practical know-how of the participants coming from different factories and LFMEAB also targets to motivate their member factories to organize this type of training and demonstration every month.
