Under the project, Leathergoods & Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) arranged a day-long workshop regarding “Access to Finance” at Bangladesh Paduka Prostutkarok Somiti (BPPS), Bakshi Bazar. Ms Anne Raine, EU expert of SME Competitiveness inaugurated the workshop, while Mr. Md. Khurshed Alam, head of SME Banking, Eastern Bank Limited facilitated the workshop. More than 30 participants from different leather & footwear factories received comprehensive training regarding how to apply for a loan to bank from factory, required document to apply for a loan, & how to keep financial record etc.
