The ZDHC Foundation is to launch its Leather Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL) at the Leather & Sustainability in Retail Conference 2015 in central London on December 9.
In 2011 a group of major apparel and footwear brands and retailers made a shared commitment to help lead the footwear and apparel industry towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals. Scott Echols, Director of Technology at the ZDHC Foundation, will be discussing the latest developments of the project and launching the Leather ‘Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL)’ at the conference providing delegates with valuable insight into this important development in the use of chemicals in the leather industry.
