A delegation from the Leathergoods And Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) led by President Mr. Md. Saiful Islam donated funds for the relief fund (PMNRF) of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. On Wednesday, 31st August 2016, a LFMEAB Team comprised of Mr. Md. Nasir Khan (Vice President-Finance, LFMEAB), Mr. Nazmul Hassan Sohail, (Vice President-Admin & HR, LFMEAB), Mr. Ziaur Rahman (Director, LFMEAB), and Mr. Hedayetullah Ron (Director, LFMEAB) met with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Prime Minister’s Office and donated cheque of Tk 50 lacs for the flood victims of the north-eastern region of Bangladesh. This small donation is LFMEAB’s contribution towards bringing relief to the people of flood-hit areas.
LFMEAB President shared the concern of the people of flood-hit areas and about the grim situation and extended its support. President also thanked Prime Minister for timely response from the government in ensuring their rescue and rehabilitation. The Prime Minister has also appreciated LFMEAB’s support.
