LFMEAB delegates attended in Vietnam Footwear Summit 2017, which is being organized by LEFASO (Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association) and ECV International. The program was two days long and footwear industry related delegates from all over the Asia participated in that summit. The Executive director and Head of policy & resource of LFMEAB represented Bangladeshi leather goods and footwear industry.
A panel discussion on “In New Era, Impacts of New International Trade Agreements and Other Domestic and Foreign Policies on Vietnamese Footwear Industry” were held on that summit. Delegates of different countries have shared their industrial profile, real life experience and challenges facing by their leather goods and footwear industry. It was an open discussion and the panelist answered different questions from their point of view. The Head of policy & resource of LFMEAB was one of the panelists of the discussion.
