President of Leathergoods & Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) is attending the 118th SOCIETY OF LEATHER TECHNOLOGISTS AND CHEMISTS (SLTC) Conference 2015 (http://www.sltc.org/conference.htm) holding on 25th April 2015 at the University of Northampton, UK. President is representing the LFMEAB accompanied by Executive Director. Hence, LFMEAB President is also going to deliver a presentation “Challenges facing the Bangladesh Leather Industry” (https://lfmeab.org/images/report/Challenges_facing_the_Bangladesh_Leather_Industry_LFMEAB.pdf) at 16:00 (UK time) in the conference. The conference is expected to cover both the theoretical and practical interests involved in making leather, hide and skin trades, machinery, chemical and dye and finish manufacturers as well as allied industries such as effluent treatment.
During the tour, the Executive Director of LFMEAB will also study on potentials markets and investors for its members. Furthermore, as part of match making tours for investment attraction, increasing networking, creation of information, Executive Director will visit SATRA- a leading technical authority for footwear and leather- to avail technical expertise and excellent designing facilities.
