A textbook distribution programme held in Picard Community School of Leathergoods And Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) – in Zirabo, Asuliya Savar on Thursday, 3rd January, 2019. Mr. Md. Saiful Islam, President of Picard Community School Governing Committee and President of LFMEAB distributed textbooks for free among school students in presence of their guardians as a gift for the New Year. During the distribution, Community School students were seen delighted to receive their new textbooks. Distributing textbooks Mr. Islam hoped that being enlightened by the light of education today’s students will enlighten themselves and serve and enrich Bangladesh. 
In his speech, President of LFMEAB highlighting beyond compliance initiatives of LFMEAB stated that Picard Bangladesh Ltd started Picard Community School under initiative of LFMEAB in 2015. He further added that in current year 2019 LFMEAB will establish 2 more community schools. Adding these 2 total 5 community schools will be serving leathergoods and footwear export sector.
