Under the initiative of the European Union funded Inspired Lot 1 B Project, “Support for the development of the value added leather products (footwear and leather goods) clusters and value chain”- Leathergoods & Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) arranged a training program on Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) at Leather Technologists Small & Medium Entrepreneurs Cooperative Society (LTSE) Hajaribagh tannery area on 22nd June 2015.
The day long training program was facilitated by certified lead auditors Mr. Mainuddin Khan and Mr.Shuva Chowdhury.
Participants were given a basic understanding on the safety measures needed for factory and also ideas on EMS
